Terms Of Use
Welcome to Math Mind Institute (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and our tutoring and coaching services (together, the “Services”).
By using our website or Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or Services.
1. Who We Are
Math Mind Institute is a math tutoring service providing personalized digital coaching, including one-on-one and online tutoring, homework help, and test preparation for students of various grade levels.
Our Services are intended for students and their parents/guardians in the United States.
2. Eligibility and Parent/Guardian Responsibility
-
By using our Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are a parent/guardian using the Services on behalf of a minor student.
-
Parents/guardians are responsible for:
-
Providing accurate information about the student
-
Overseeing the student’s use of the Services
-
All payments and bookings made under their account
-
3. Services and Scheduling
-
We offer online tutoring sessions, homework support, and test preparation, primarily delivered virtually.
-
Session length, frequency, and format are agreed upon at the time of booking.
-
We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the Services at any time, with or without notice.
4. Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds
-
Payment terms (rates, due dates, accepted methods) are provided at the time of booking or in your invoice.
-
You agree to pay all fees associated with the Services you book.
-
Cancellations / Rescheduling:
-
At Math Mind Institute, every tutoring session is reserved exclusively for your student. Because appointment times cannot typically be filled on short notice, all tutoring sessions are final once booked and are not eligible for cancellation or rescheduling.
-
If a student is unable to attend a scheduled session for any reason, including illness, scheduling conflicts, or forgetting the appointment, the session fee will be forfeited. Families are welcome to book a new appointment through our scheduling system at their convenience.
-
Math Mind Institute understands that true emergencies and severe weather events can occasionally arise. In these rare circumstances, Math Mind Institute may, at its sole discretion, waive this policy or offer a makeup session. Exceptions are evaluated individually and are not guaranteed.
-
This policy allows us to respect the time of every family we serve while maintaining availability for students who rely on regularly scheduled tutoring.
-
Please review any additional payment or cancellation terms provided during booking, as they are part of these Terms.
5. No Guarantee of Results
Our goal is to support and improve students’ understanding and confidence in math. However:
-
We do not guarantee specific outcomes, grades, test scores, or admission results.
-
Progress depends on many factors, including the student’s effort, attendance, and completion of assignments.
You understand and agree that any success stories or testimonials on our website reflect individual experiences and are not promises of future performance.
